The ancient Greeks said, "The unexamined life is not worth living." In modern times, we continue to search for meaning and peace. Technology overwhelms us with anxiety and a fear of missing out. We pollute our planet and kill our animals. Our smart phones, televisions, and computers consume our time, keeping us from recharging and examining our lives. We are bombarded by so much information but less knowledge. Our quiet time is lost. We pray less.Truth becomes more elusive as corruption and greed overwhelm our institutions of justice, medicine, law, and politics. Goodness and common sense become lost in the madness.
